What are some ideas for the topics for the first issue?

1. Are Michigan lecture sizes too big?
Have one person who brings indication that lecture size is irrelevant to education. One person who completely dislikes the current paradigm, and would like to see a seminar approach to all classes. Provide some background information on actual sizes of most michigan classes, etc.
Have an alumnus write in favor of the great networking that Michigan has, etc. Have a staff writer for the Ohio State school newspaper write about Michigan being just-another-state-school, or even an Ivy League student could be brought in to write that side.
Is orientation a waste of time? The text in the center could be a summary of the University's orientation policies. Positions could include yes, the U does it perfectly, and no, here's how it should be done. There could be some radical ideas on how to reform it. This would be a challenging question that could get the attention of freshmen.
